Ever so often, we hear that our favorite celebrity couple has broken up or called their divorce lawyers to legally call it quits and it just ruins our day. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Of course, it’s a sad event made even worse when family lawyers are involved and the parents fight for the custody of their children.

And yet, there are plenty of stars who have stayed together for a long time and weathered many storms together. Sure, marriage is a gamble, and there are many times when one feels like loading their U-Haul and moving out, but in the end… love wins! That’s why it’s so heartening to hear of long lasting marriages and relationships, which certainly is not the norm in Hollywood.

Here are some celebrity couples who have us rooting for them.

Matt Bomer – Married to Simon Halls for 9 years

Matt Bomer, famously known for his role in the TV show ‘White Collar,’ is an award-winning actor/singer who has achieved massive onscreen success over the years. We all find love someday, and Matt found his in Simon Halls, whom he met in 2008, and they’ve been married for almost a decade!

Despite deciding to keep their union secret, Matt, a gay rights activist, openly revealed in 2014 that he had been married to Simon, a publicist since 2011. Together, the couple has three children, all born through surrogacy. They credit the longevity of their marriage to Matt’s grandparents, their role models, who had been together since they were teenagers.

Carole Baskin – Married to Howard Baskin for 15 Years

Carole and Howard met at an animal advocacy event in 2002 and married each other, two years later, on the same beach where they got engaged. Both of them love tigers and work together to promote Big Cat Rescue, which was started by Carole, herself.

Howard has reported that they have never had an argument or said something harsh to the other one in the fifteen years they have been together. They make decisions and solve everything through talking. He says that he’s the luckiest man in the world to have such an amazing partner and could not imagine having a more considerate one.

Jenna Dewan – In a Relationship with Steve Kazee for over a year

Steve Kazee and Jenna Dewan haven’t been in a relationship for more than two years but they are setting some serious relationship goals for the rest of us. While Jenna likes to see and applaud this Tony award winner perform on stage, he likes to blow kisses towards his girlfriend from across the room (how romantic!).

The couple is quite reserved about their relationship but we know that they are expecting their first child and recently got engaged. Now, we are curious to know whether the duo is going to have a private ceremony or a grand one, what do you think?
