Bo Derek’s roles in Ghosts Can’t Do It, 10 and Bolero are some of the most sensuous and memorable performances in Hollywood. She is one of the few actresses of the 70s and 80s who changed the way entertainment industry portrayed women.
Her youth might have been dedicated towards presenting a bold woman on camera but her love for horses won at last as she took a step back from the acting scene to spend more time with her pure bred mare, Gaiata. Now at 63, she serves on the California Horse Racing Board along with advocating for animal rights against horse slaughter.
