Arnold Schwarzenegger’s acting and political career have rewarded him with huge earnings, thus, when he got elected Governor of California, he needed his own private jet to travel from LA to Sacramento. His personal wealth is so vast that he declined his Governor salary, and he funded his trips with his own bank account.
He purchased his personal Gulfstream III jet in 2007, and despite its price usually being $60 million, he saved a lot of money by removing all its luxury features, resulting in a $20-million cost. Though he’s not a Governor anymore, he still uses it for his vacation flights.
