Sean Connery: ~ $1.9 Million, Ireland
James Bond himself, actor Sean Connery may have been a true-blue proud Scotsman and it was the Irish countryside he fell in love with when he visited. So enamored he was that he bought himself a 6 bedroom mansion here which was built all the way back in 1868! Called the Violet Hill House, it stands in the middle of a 3.5 acre plot which is surrounded by trees and greenery. The interiors are pretty much where you would expect James Bond to retire, as it’s filled with various antique pieces such as paintings, rugs and art from all over the world. In fact, 750 of these pieces were auctioned off when the house was put on sale a couple of years ago.
