Nobody Knew That These Stars Had Passed Away until Their Obituaries Came Out!

These days, we know of celebrity deaths almost as soon as they happen, thanks to the speed with which information is disseminated via internet and social media. Every so often, however, a celebrity dies well under the radar and we don’t hear about it until much, much later.

Maybe the celeb’s family is just really good at keeping things private, or maybe the celeb has all been forgotten by the public. No matter how shocking the death is, though, we do hope that they left behind real estate properties or a hefty bank account or even life insurance policies for their families instead of an inheritance of debt.

Lynn Kellog – Covid-19

The pandemic of 2020 took yet another victim from us, and this time it was the American actress and singer Lynn Kellogg, who was famous for her iconic role in the very first iteration of the ‘Broadway’ musical ‘Hair.’

Lynn’s career got a kickstart after her outstanding stage performance. It saw her gain significant popularity, which resulted in her appearing on-screen with the king of Rock’n Roll, Elvis Presley, and hitting the road with musician Gordon Lightfoot. After all that, Lynn helped create entertainment for children. It’s sad to think that her tremendous talent is no more with us.

John le Carré – Pneumonia

The prolific British author, John le Carré, passed away at 89 after suffering from pneumonia. In his last moments, he was surrounded by family. When the shocking news of his demise hit, the outpouring of grief and remembrance messages were received. This only goes on to show how impactful his life’s work was!

People still talk about his novel The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, even though it has been more than five decades after it was originally published. John had the gifted ability to draw people in and spin a story that kept us hooked. He would be terribly missed!

 Doug Supernaw – Cancer

A stage four cancer diagnosis received in February 2020 was devastatingly shocking news for Doug Supernaw and his family and fans. The country singer, much loved and adored in the industry, had only recently begun producing music after several years-long hiatus.

Nominated for an ‘ACMA’ award for his immensely popular hit single ‘I Don’t Call Him Daddy,’ Supernaw’s four critically successful country music albums are a testament to his appeal. A tragic and untimely twist of fate may have taken Doug away, but we and the fans will forever fondly remember this melodious crooner’s tunes.
