Jack Hanna – 74 Years Old
It’s rare to find people who selflessly care for wildlife, even fighting for the betterment of their lives. Had it not been for advancing years, distinguished zookeeper Jack Hanna would still be at the forefront of enlightening our minds and changing the way we feel about animals.
When Hanna joined Columbus Zoo, he increased the visitor count while simultaneously spreading awareness about captive animals’ right to live in a natural environment instead of restrictive and caged enclosures.
Jack’s selfless motto caught the media’s attention as he received invitations from FOX News, CNN, and several TV shows to talk more about his aim, drawing thousands to the good cause.
