They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.
Susan Tully – 53 Years
One name that we associate with the show EastEnders is that of Susan Tully, who played the role of Michelle Fowler for more than a decade on the soap opera. Nevertheless, she later decided to give up on her acting career to pursue her passion for producing and directing television shows.
In 2016, Susan was approached several times to reprise her role as Michelle, but she turned it down repeatedly. We must say, though, that her career behind the camera proved to be as fruitful as her performance in front of it since she successfully directed some of the most popular series on the small screen.
