THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.

Priscilla Presley – 76 Years Old

If you thought that looking good was restricted to women of a certain age, we’re about to blow your mind. Priscilla Presley will pass for 50, with her impressive slender figure, as she still rocks her pointed heels and knee-length, body-hugging dresses.

Some people have attributed her youthful look to surgery, but come on! You don’t get to look that amazing from head to toe with just a procedure. Presley puts in the work and sacrifice needed to look that fantastic, and undoubtedly, she is the embodiment of the phrase “aging with grace.”

Ann-Margret – 80 years old

Ann-Margret is the beautiful star of movies like Viva Las VegasBye Bye Birdie, and The Cincinnati Kid who is not only known for her classic beauty and grace, but also for her singing, dancing, and acting chops. Even now in her 70s, she still exudes the same grace and elegance, which were undeniable when she appeared in the 2014 film, Ray Donovan.

Quincy Jones – 88 Years

Anytime the name ‘Quincy Jones’ is called, it’s either an ovation succeeds it or we are reminded of certain transgenerational music pieces or movies that nourished our souls richly and tenderly. He is not just a torchbearer in the African-American community, but a Picasso-esque figure in the world of song composition and film-making.

An award-laden career singles him out from his contemporaries. He is the mastermind behind the songs ‘Miss Celie’s Blues’ from the film ‘The Colour Purple’ that he produced, ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ with the great Frank Sinatra and the very popular charity single ‘We Are the World’; among others. His 2011 National Media of Arts finally adorns his career.
