Aerosoles is a footwear company founded in 1987 and currently headquartered in New Jersey. Its main selling point is footwear that’s affordable and comfortable, but also able to keep up with fashion trends in an ever changing and very tough market.
Unfortunately, like many retail brands, it was unable to compete with cheaper fast fashion chains like Zara, H&M, and Forever 21. This has since led to Aerosoles filing bankruptcy in September 2017. Its restructuring plan included the closure of several of its 88 stores in an effort to improve its financial health.
