Singer Belinda Carlisle started out as the front woman of the massively popular female band The Go-Go’s in the 70’s and later became an equally popular solo act with hits like Heaven is a Place on Earth and I Get Weak to her credit. She has no plans of retirement as of yet and continues to tour and perform, even publishing an autobiography while she’s at it. Not bad for a lady who turned 60 this year.
