Ree’s show on The Food Network, also titled The Pioneer Woman, is one of the network’s most successful shows. However, what most people do not know is that this is not the first show in the network that she appeared in. In fact, long before the show was conceived, she had already appeared on another show. This was back in 2010 when she went head to head opposite renowned celebrity chef Bobby Flay in his show Throwdown!. For his Thanksgiving special that year, he invited Ree, whose website was already getting quite popular, and she actually beat him!
