Katy Perry’s one of biggest hits is Extraterrestrial, so we probably shouldn’t be surprised that she once gifted her ex-husband, comedian and actor Russell Brand, a ticket for a trip to space aboard Virgin Atlantic, which cost the singer a whopping $200,000. Indeed, it seems a somewhat appropriate gift as they were quite the out-of-this-world couple back then. Unfortunately, their union ended in divorce. Not only that, Virgin Atlantic is still yet to fly to space, which may be a good thing as we’re not even sure if the destination is covered by travel insurance.
