A new venture
Ree’s projects continue to multiply by the day. In 2017, Ree shared the news on The Pioneer Woman blog that she and her husband Ladd had made a major investment by buying a 3-story building in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, which they planned to convert into an 8-room hotel. True to form, Ree wanted to build cozy and comfortable suites that she and Marlboro Man would personally want to stay in. She also shared her interior design inspirations for her vision. They quaintly called it ‘The Pioneer Woman Boarding House’ and it opened to the public in April 2018.
