Comedian Kathy Griffin didn’t just decide one day she wanted to be an actress or stand-up comic, and it wasn’t a ‘laughing matter’ with her as well, since she was serious with her craft that she decided to study at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute when she was 18. Griffin obviously got her parents support with her pursuance of an acting career, since they paid for her acting classes. For that reason, when Griffin started earning a lot of money because of her acting and stand-up-comic gigs, she spent them first on her parents by buying them a house.
