Today, rocker Dave Grohl is best known as the singer and frontman of the band, Foo Fighters. They got their start in the late 90s and remain one of today’s most bankable acts on the rock and roll genre. They have also enjoyed multiple Grammy Awards through the years. Well before all these, however, Dave actually first tasted stardom as the drummer of an equally huge band back in the 90s, Nirvana. For the first of many massive paychecks he would receive for his many successes, Dave chose to purchase something more modest—a barbecue grill, which is an appliance that could be found in most suburban homes. For those close to the rocker, however, this did not come as a surprise as he’s apparently quite the barbecue aficionado.
