Colin Kaepernick – Donated to sick children
Aside from being an American football quarterback who played for the San Francisco 49ers, Colin Kaepernick is known for being a political activist. During the 2016 season, the NFL quarterback decided to be out of his contract with the 49ers to become a free agent. Kaepernick became controversial when he decided to sit while the national anthem was being played before a match, following that incident, the football player kneeled. Kaepernick did this to protest against systematic oppression and racial injustice happening in the country. It will warms everybody’s heart that for his first paycheck which he earned during his rookie season, instead of splurging on luxury, Kaepernick gave the money to Camp Taylor, a camp for children with heart disease.
