Asking For Help With A Letter
Psychological trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), is common among plane crash survivors. And in this photo, we see the plea for help written by the survivors, which reads: “We don’t have the beginning or the end. I come from a plane that crashed in the mountains. I am Uruguayan. We have been walking for 10 days. I have a wounded friend up there.”
The message continues: “There are 14 injured people in the plane. We need to get out of here quickly, but we don’t know how. We have no food. We are weak. When will they come to rescue us from up here?”
