THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

Ruth Buzzi – 85 Years

They say that showbiz is one of the hardest industries to break into, and while that might have been the case for others, Ruth Buzzi’s story is different. Thanks to her undisputed talent, this all-around entertainer would get her big break at 19 as a lead character on a Broadway musical. Yet, that was just the beginning of Buzzi’s journey to stardom.

She would later venture into comedy and star in numerous TV shows and films, for which she earned recognition from the Golden Globe Awards. Even in her eighties, Buzzi, who doubles as a painter, continues to bless the world with laughter through her stand up performances.

Barbara Walters – 91 years old

There’s no doubt that Barbara Walters has earned the distinction of being one of the most influential TV personalities of all time. For many years, she was an accomplished journalist and broadcaster, hosting distinguished news programs like Today, ABC Evening News, 20/20, and The View. Even after her retirement in 2004, she continued to be a reporter and contributor until 2015.

Not only that, Barbara is also a successful author, publishing several articles and her own autobiography. She successfully underwent treatment for a faulty aortic valve in 2010. However, she is now 89 years old and much talk of her failing health has been widely reported.
