Although Tim Tebow now plays in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets, he gained prominence first when he was a football quarterback playing college football for the Florida Gators. He was then drafted in the NFL and he played for celebrated teams like Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles. Tebow eventually retired from playing pro-football and decided to switch to professional baseball.

The former NFL QB has been very vocal about his faith, that he was often seen kneeling and praying before games, as well as putting biblical verses on his eye black. He also said that it’s important that the woman he spend his life with, shares the same faith as he does. And looks like he has met his match in 2017 Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. Nel-Peters hails from South Africa, the country she represented for the prestigious pageant. The couple started seeing each other in April of 2018 and he finally proposed to her on January 9, 2019.
