Surprisingly, the U.S. Coast Guard notes that a whopping 75% of boat rescues result from human errors rather than mechanical failures. Perhaps the owners who had no worries should’ve paid heed to basic boating safety! Fortunately, their distress signals were noticed, making this debacle a little less disastrous.
