Cars of Stars! Even the Paparazzi can’t Catch Up with Celebrities in Their Mega-expensive Rides

Jean Harlow – 1934 Cadillac V-12 Five-Passenger Sedan , ~ $80K

When you think of the golden age of Hollywood, one of the names that comes to mind is that of actress Jean Harlow.  During the 1930s, she was considered as one of the biggest movie stars in the world.  Some of her famous nicknames were ‘Blonde Bombshell’, ‘Platinum Blonde’, and ‘Laughing Vamp’.  Naturally a movie star as big as Harlow needs a luxurious car like the 1934 Cadillac V-12 Five-Passenger Sedan.

Since this top-of-the-line car made with custom bodies was built in limited numbers, only a small number of Americans were able to acquire it.  Being the biggest movie star in the world, it’s understandable that Harlow chose to buy this model.  Sadly, Harlow died at the young age of 26, while filming the movie Saratoga, due to kidney failure.  Whatever happened to Harlow’s Cadillac, only people close to her will ever know.
