Harrison Ford – Carpenter
Harrison Ford wanted to pursue acting after he graduated from high school, and even left his native Wisconsin in the early 60s to try his luck in Hollywood. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for him at that time. Already married with 2 young sons, he then taught himself to become a carpenter in order to pay off credit card debt and make ends meet. However, he continued trying his luck in the industry until he was cast by George Lucas in American Graffiti, which later led to him being cast as Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise. The rest, as they say, is history.
