Actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are not only known for their respective successes and stellar performances, but they are also well-known best buddies, having been friends even before they became superstars. As it would turn out, however, their relationship actually goes beyond friendship as they are related by blood through a common ancestor, William Knowlton Jr., who was a bricklayer in the 17th century.
Not only that, another very notable figure can claim kinship with the pair, as well—no other than former POTUS Barack Obama who also shares this same ancestor.
