Kate Middleton and Dakota and Elle Fanning – Distant cousins
Sisters and actresses Dakota and Elle Fanning could very well be the princesses of Hollywood today. In fact, Elle even played a famous princess in the movie Maleficent – none other than the Princess Aurora of the Sleeping Beauty tale. And it seems this actually comes naturally to the sisters as they are, in fact, very much related to royalty—most specifically England’s King Edward III from whom they have descended.
Their mom, Heather Joy Arrington, is one of the King’s granddaughter, as is Carole Goldsmith, who is the mother of a real-life princess, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, second in line to be the Queen of England. It’s unknown if the Fanning side of the family also inherited the royal bank account, but judging from the sisters’ successes and significant payroll from their projects, they’re not doing too bad.
