Amy Schumer and Chuck Schumer – Distant cousins
Chuck Schumer is one of today’s most respected lawmakers, serving New York in Congress and later, in the Senate, for over four decades now. His career is truly a distinguished one, especially in stark contrast to his distant cousin, actress and comedian Amy Schumer who provides comic relief to her audience.
One thing’s for sure, however. Both have considerable influence in their chosen fields, and they have since joined forces to a common cause—pushing for stricter gun control laws for the general safety and security of the population. They famously appeared in the premiere of Amy’s movie, Trainwreck, jointly promoting their cause in the wake of the Louisiana shooting incident.
