The connection between these two Hollywood stalwarts is not immediately known, but there’s no doubt that veteran actress Shirley Maclaine and veteran actor Warren Beatty are full siblings.
This is because Shirley chose the stylized surname of ‘Maclaine’ (from their mother’s maiden name, MacLean) when she entered show business, while Warren chose to keep the family name, Beaty, but added an extra ‘T.’ It seems that both techniques worked as both would rise to become legends in the industry and remain two of the most celebrated performers today—not to mention, two with the largest bank accounts.
