On the personal front, she was married to Italian producer Carlo Ponti until his death in 2007. Their union produced 2 sons, Carlo Jr. and Edoardo. Carlo Jr., in particular, seems to have inherited his mother’s unique facial features and intense look, which serves him well in his career as an orchestral conductor.
