Bell peppers are relatively safe to feed to dogs, but you need to make sure that you only give them a moderate amount. Dogs are carnivores. And while they might enjoy the crunchy texture of bell peppers and even reap some of the many benefits like vitamins and beta carotene, they can get sick if they eat too much of them.
Too many vegetables will almost result in an upset stomach for dogs, which can lead to vomiting, diarrhea, and bloating. Also, never give your dog red chili peppers as the capsaicin present in them can cause severe irritation in the eyes and nose.
