Luke Perry – Stroke
A native of Ohio, actor Luke Perry moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He wasn’t lucky at first, and he had to work some odd jobs just to support himself while he auditioned for acting parts in Hollywood. His big break came with a music video with the band Twisted Sisters. After that he was able to land some small roles in daytime soap operas like Loving and Another World.
But, his biggest role came in 1989, when he was cast as Dylan McKay in the hit Fox show Beverly Hills, 90210. He was still very much active in Hollywood when Perry suffered a massive stroke. In fact, he was just filming some episodes of the show Riverdale, on which he was a regular cast. In an unfortunate turn of events, Perry died at the young age of 52 in early 2019.
