Cars of Stars! Even the Paparazzi can’t Catch Up with Celebrities in Their Mega-expensive Rides

Al Capone – 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan, ~ $341K

Bullet proofs are not new, political figures and head of states ride them, and even gangsters to this day have them, too. However, it was the notorious Al Capone who is said to have first ordered a vehicle that deflected bullets from enemy guns, back in the 1920s.

And Capone’s car of choice was the flashy 1928 Cadillac Town Sedan, whose extravagance was muted with a coat of green and black paint. The Series 341 four-door, five-passenger Cadillac runs on an L-Head 341-cubic-inch V-8 engine, and has a three-speed manual gearbox. The said car can be deemed as historical, so when it was auction off, it sold for $341,000.
