Cyndi Lauper – Married to David Thornton for 28 Years
The pop icon from the 80s, Cyndi Lauper, is an unforgettable member of the music industry, thanks to her quirky style and personality, besides her hugely popular songs, True Colors, Time After Time and She Bop. In the early 90’s she tried to branch out into acting too, with the 1991 movie Off and Running, but that didn’t really go as planned.
Still, Cyndi should be glad that she starred in that movie, because she met her soulmate, David Thornton, on it’s sets. She was going through a rough patch as she had just broken up with her long-term boyfriend and things were not going great professionally, but things started getting better when David walked in. The couple has now been married for 28 years, and have been blessed with a son.
