Ron Glass – Respiratory failure
Ron Glass had many roles and appeared on the big screen quite often throughout his career but he is best known for his starring role as Detective Ron Harris in the TV sitcom Barney Miller. Another famous role that brought fame to Ron was that of Derrial Book in the hit TV show Firefly. Even though he was almost 70 then, Ron appeared in the ever popular TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2014, which was to be his last credited role. He was diagnosed with respiratory failure, and even though he had undergone various treatments, he died in 2016 when he was 71.
