Len Lesser – Cancer Related Pneumonia
Len Lesser is probably best recognized for his role of Uncle Leo, Jerry Seinfeld’s beloved uncle on the TV show Seinfeld. Another one of his famous roles was of Gavin in Everybody Loves Raymond. But even before he was cast in these roles, he had built up quite a rich work history: he appeared in around 180 TV shows and movies in his heydays. And acting was just one of the careers he had. He had served in the US Army during World War II, enlisting just a day after Pearl Harbor was bombed. He died at the age of 88 in the year 2011, due to pneumonia.
