Hot on its heels was the film Xanadu, which firmly made her into the 70’s and 80’s star who we remember today. Aside from her impressive acting jobs and performances, she was also a hit-making singer at that time with countless memorable tunes and best selling albums to her credit. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.
