Most people would recognize Molly Ringwald today for her role as Archie’s mom in the popular teen series Riverdale. What most fans today don’t know is that she was actually a popular teen queen herself back in the 80’s. Not just any teen queen, in fact, but rather, the most popular of them all at that time. She starred in cult classics like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, and many more. In the 90’s, she also starred in TV movies like The Stand and Malicious. She reportedly turned down the lead role in Pretty Woman, which eventually went to Julia Roberts. We can only imagine what Molly’s net worth would be like right now had she opted to do the movie.
