Brigitte Bardot is probably the most famous actress to ever come from France, and this is saying a lot as there are a lot of Hollywood imports from the country. She was the very definition of the 60’s vixen with provocative movies like And God Created Woman to her credit, as well as some of the most risqué images of the decade. She is now in her 80’s and has long since put the glory of her youth behind her, preferring to devote her time and still considerable influence to animal charities.
