THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.

Graham Nash – 80 Years

Graham Nash’s fanbase has been starved of the singer’s presence for quite some time, and understandably so. Graham is currently pushing 80, so doing long tour dates might not be ideal for the veteran’s health. Nevertheless, he still has time to release music, albeit once in a while.

Luckily, Graham isn’t enjoying his sunset years alone as he recently tied the knot to the amazing Amy Grantham, and the pair have been keeping to themselves mostly. The wedding took place in 2019, and since 2020 was a fiasco, we can assume this duo is still enjoying a worthy honeymoon phase. Who would want to leave their wife’s side at such a time in the relationship anyway?

Toni Tennille – 81 years old

Who could ever forget the timeless hit songs Love Will Keep Us Together, Do That To Me One More Time, and Muskrat Love?  These songs were huge hits in the 70s, made and performed by the husband-and-wife duo, Captain & Tennille.  Although ‘Captain’ Daryl Dragon passed away on January 2, 2019, his ex-wife, Toni Tennille, is very much alive.

Now 78 years old, Tennille has released a memoir entitled Toni Tennille, A Memoir, a few years ago.  One of the things that also kept the singer-songwriter busy was caring for the Captain.  Even though the two divorced in 2014, they remained close friends, and when Captain became sick, Tennille moved to Arizona to assist her ex-husband until his death.

Donna Fargo – 76 Years

Donna Fargo, born Yvonne Vaughn, is a superstar country singer who hasn’t let any challenge weigh her down. You might know her as the hitmaker behind ‘The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA,’ and she has been consistently topping the charts ever since she joined the industry.

As the singer behind tracks like ‘You Can’t Be A Beacon If Your Light Don’t Shine’ and ‘Mockingbird Hill,’ Donna has made her mark on the country genre as a whole. Despite having a career roadblock due to her physical health in 1978, she has bounced back and shows no signs of stopping. She hasn’t announced her retirement yet, and is working on her autobiography!
