It’s not too clear, but this woman seems to be holding a jellyfish. The smile on her face could give you the impression that it is a wonderful experience, but she may actually be in more danger than she realizes. Experts will never advise you to hold a jellyfish, and it’s for your own safety.
Even though many jellyfish are harmless to humans, some can cause life-threatening reactions and severe pain. Their tentacles can sting and paralyze a person, whether it’s just by swimming close to them, touching them, or stepping on a dead one. We hope she’s safe, though.
