This picture puts the phrase “eyes on the ball” into perspective. This man’s eyes are literally and figuratively on the ball, as you can see. We only hope he will be able to see something else after this. It was funny for those watching, but it must have been painful for the man.

For sports like volleyball, lensed polycarbonate protectors are among the proper safety goggles to wear. For some other sports, helmets and face shields are recommended and even incorporated into their sports gear.
