Chuck Berry: ~ $399,000, St. Louis

Musician Chuck Berry is considered as one of the pioneers of rock and roll music, but to others, he ‘invented’ rock & roll.  Some of his famous hits songs are Maybellene, Roll Over Beethoven, and Johnny B. Goode.  Berry used to own homes in St. Louis, Missouri, one of them being the one at 3137 Whittier Street, which is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and the other is this one that he bough in 1958, after moving out of his former home.  During the big move to this home, Johnny B. Goode climbed the charts and was famous like never before.  The 4,350 sq. ft home is three-story high,  has 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, a game room, a large kitchen, a butler’s pantry, a carriage house, and a 2-car garage.
