Gene Hackman is one of the best actors in Hollywood. Although he has retired in 2017, we can never forget his incredible performances, such as his roles in The French Connection and Unforgiven that won him Academy Awards for both movies. However, Hackman is most memorable for appearing as Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor is the Superman movie series starring the late actor, Christopher Reeve.
Although it would have been great for him to spend retirement in his Pebble Beach home, he sold it off even before he retired. The 12,688 square-foot mansion is actually part of a group of properties that sports a tag price of $79 million. Hackman’s former estate is worth $27 million and spans 2.37 acres.
