Home Alone House: ~ $1.585 Million, Illinois
When the Christmas season arrives, binge-watching Christmas-themed films is a must. And on top of many lists of classic Christmas movies is John Hughes’ Home Alone. Contrary to many beliefs, the movies wasn’t filmed in a studio lot, but rather in a real-life house that’s located in Winnetka, Illinois. The 4,250-square-foot Georgian-style home was originally built during the 1920s, and contains 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and an attic that fans of the movies are very familiar with. The house was sold in 2012 to a new owner for $1.585 million.
