Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice may not be living the big football player life, now that he has retired, but he does seem to have invested his income and savings in multiple real estate properties across the country. One such property is his Bay Area mansion which he was able to sell for $9 million, although the original asking price for it was $22 million. With 17,000 square feet of living area at the owner’s disposal, this isn’t just your average family home. Although the house comes with 6 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a pool and pool house, a gift wrapping room and it’s own theatre room, the most impressive thing about the mansion is that it is a ‘smart house’; which allowed Jerry to work the security features and home appliances from anywhere in the world!
