Italian-born actress Sophia Loren is a true Hollywood legend. She embarked on a long and distinguished career that would last almost 70 years at the age of 16, taking on small roles. A lucrative contract with Paramount not only secured a large payroll for Sophia, but also launched her career internationally. Since then, she has held numerous critically-acclaimed roles, including her Academy Award-winning role in 1962’s Two Women. Beyond her success in movies, however, Sophia is also recognized as a feminist icon, thanks to her unique beauty and often risque ‘don’t care!’ persona. Now 84 years old, she quietly lives in her home in Geneva.
