One semester before she finished her college studies, a friend suggested to Elizabeth Shue that she could work in TV commercials to pay her college fees, which marked the beginning of her dalliance with acting. She even quit school, choosing to pursue a Hollywood path, which turned out to be one magical switch.
With numerous Blockbusters under her name such as ‘Piranha’ and ‘Karate Kid,’ Shue’s decorated career turned out precisely as she would have wanted it. To top it all, she returned to college about a decade later and completed her course.
