Ever so often, we hear that our favorite celebrity couple has broken up or called their divorce lawyers to legally call it quits and it just ruins our day. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Of course, it’s a sad event made even worse when family lawyers are involved and the parents fight for the custody of their children.

And yet, there are plenty of stars who have stayed together for a long time and weathered many storms together. Sure, marriage is a gamble, and there are many times when one feels like loading their U-Haul and moving out, but in the end… love wins! Will Smith – Married to Jada Pinkett Smith for 23 Years

When Hollywood star Will Smith (from Men in Black, Wild Wild West, and Aladdin) met Jada Pinkett for the first time, sparks flew. She was a small-time actress who was auditioning for the role of his girlfriend in the TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but she was rejected for being too short. The only thing stopping these two from getting together was the fact that Will had a wife!

Eventually, Will divorced his first wife, Sheree and married Jada in 1997, and it proved to be a very long-term deal. There has been a lot of gossip of affairs, separation and divorce, but this beautiful pair is still together after 23 years. The blended family (that includes Sheree and her son with Will, along with Jada and Will’s two kids) make for an amazingly grounded modern unit and there’s no bad blood between the wives!
