Meet Abby And Brittany Hensel: The World’s Most Fabulous Conjoined Twins

Rare As Rare Can Be

Abby and Brittany Hensel are two people in one body, living proof that anything is possible. Born with a rare condition called ‘dicephalic parapagus,’ the odds were stacked against them. Typically, such children have meager survival rates. But these two sisters have defied all expectations and thrived.

The twins are only the second known case of dicephalic parapagus twins to survive into adulthood. Conjoined twins are rare—occurring just once every 189,000 births, according to some estimates. The fact that Abby and Brittany have not only survived but also thrived is a testament to their remarkable resilience and determination.
