These Famous Celebrity Couples are In It for the Long Haul
Ever so often, we hear that our favorite celebrity couple has broken up or called their divorce lawyers to legally call it quits and it just ruins our day. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Of course, it’s a sad event made even worse when family lawyers are involved and the parents fight for the custody of their children.
And yet, there are plenty of stars who have stayed together for a long time and weathered many storms together. Sure, marriage is a gamble, and there are many times when one feels like loading their U-Haul and moving out, but in the end… love wins! That’s why it’s so heartening to hear of long-lasting marriages and relationships, which certainly is not the norm in Hollywood.

Jamie Lee Curtis – Married to Christopher Guest for 33 Years
True Lies actress and the scream queen from Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis was the biggest fan of The Rolling Stone magazine, and happened to spot musician, actor and screenwriter Christopher Guest on it’s cover. Guest was then starring in the rock and roll satire movie Spinal Tap and apparently was being represented by the same agency that was working with Curtis.
Curtis left Guest’s agent a message and asked him out on a date. Just six months after that date, the actress donned a wedding dress and married her cover-boy. It has been 33 years of an amazing relationship, and to think, it all began with a magazine and Jamie Lee’s infatuation. The couple does not have any biological children, but instead adopted daughter Annie and son Thomas, to complete their family.
