Despite having been enjoying retirement since 2014, Troy Polamalu remains a respected name in football. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers as strong safety for 11 seasons, even making it to the Super Bowl twice throughout his career. Since he retired, he has been making good use of his money by making lucrative investments, which has kept him liquid through the years. At some point, he owned a lavish home in La Jolla. However, he sold it for $2.5 million in 2014. He reportedly hired a team of lawyers to go after the house’s real estate agents after the estate’s backyard collapsed during heavy rain.
