John Cazale – Lung cancer
A familiar face in gangster films, John Cazale has an impressive resume that included The Godfather and Dog Day Afternoon. While filming his last movie, The Deer Hunter, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, causing production to be rescheduled. Thankfully, he was able to film all his scenes before he passed away in 1978 and hopefully consult with testament lawyers as well.
